You can permanently delete your Open Almond account, request deletion or correction of other information associated with you, and review the limited situations in which some records may be retained. These instructions also apply if you used Facebook to sign in.

If you can sign in, the fastest way to delete your Open Almond data is through your account page:
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Email privacy@openalmond.com and ask us to delete your Open Almond account and associated data. If possible, send the request from the same email address used for your Open Almond account so we can verify the request without collecting unnecessary information.
If we need additional information to verify that the account belongs to you, we will ask only for what is reasonably necessary to complete the request.
The current account-deletion flow removes data associated with your Open Almond site account, including:
Data held by an independent service or purchase platform may be governed by that provider's own deletion and retention rules. Open Almond may also retain limited records when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You do not need an Open Almond account to make a privacy request. If you want us to review, correct, or delete information associated with a newsletter signup, ministry form, support request, contact submission, or another site interaction, email privacy@openalmond.com and describe the information or interaction involved.
We may need to verify that the information relates to you before acting on the request. The scope of a particular access, correction, deletion, or opt-out right may depend on applicable law.
Deletion does not always require immediate erasure of every technical copy. Limited information may remain temporarily in backups, audit or security records, transaction records, fraud-prevention records, or other systems where retention is reasonably necessary or legally required. Information retained for those limited purposes is not intended to be returned to ordinary active use and is removed or aged out under the applicable retention process when the reason for keeping it no longer applies.
Independent storefronts, payment providers, social platforms, identity providers, and other third-party services maintain their own records under their own policies. Deleting your Open Almond account does not automatically delete an account, purchase record, or other information you maintain directly with another provider.
The same deletion steps apply. Signing in with Facebook creates an Open Almond authentication record tied to that sign-in method; deleting your Open Almond account removes the Open Almond account and associated site data described above.
Deleting your Open Almond account does not delete your Facebook or Meta account. Likewise, removing Open Almond from your Facebook app settings does not by itself delete data stored by Open Almond; use the Open Almond deletion process on this page for that.
